Learn to find the reasoning behind the ‘opinion’

The general attitude of our society has become such that any opinion (positive or negative) about someone is formed very quickly without research. Sometimes it happens that an opinion about a person is immediately formed even after hearing it from other people. Even in the world of knowledge and research, the same attitude has now emerged that if someone has written something, then they reach the moon in support or the sky in opposition. Now more cruelty is happening that if a person has written something (economy, politics, trade, history and religion etc.) then without reading it an opinion (positive or negative) is established by hearing from people.

Why is all this happening? What is the reason for this? People also say that why shouldn’t we form an opinion, don’t we have the right, don’t we live in this society, don’t we want to reform this (person/people), etc. Come on! Let’s talk about the scientific method, that is, in any matter whether it is social or economic, political or cultural, historical or religious, what should be our conduct (i.e. on what basic principles should our opinion be based). Here some scientific reports are entrusted to the paper. When something comes before us from a scholar that is against our thought, our thinking and our traditions, then first of all, instead of analyzing that person, we should consider his argument (the argument given by him). should, so that those arguments can be commented or analyzed.People have adopted this attitude that the argument given by a person is kept aside and his self is targeted, due to which many problems start arising in the society. So, keeping personality aside, consider the arguments first. This is the sign of an educated society.

After listening or reading the arguments, the next step is to see the source of the argument given by the person to see if the source he relied on is valid. That is, it is not that the source is not worthy to be accepted. This happens when a person uses sources called secondary sources instead of primary sources. Such references are not acceptable in any way. Like a person wrote something new on a subject (e.g. related to religion) and also wrote a few hadiths in it as evidence. But these hadiths were quoted from the book instead of the original, which was not from the original hadith book. And when it was investigated, it was found that the original book did not describe the tradition in the same way as the other book (eg, wording difference, context problem, etc.), so its subject was not accepted. will go rather it will be corrected (in an academic manner). However! If someone writes on a subject that is new to the society, but his arguments are strong, then he should be listened to with patience. Although general acceptance will not happen immediately, it should be considered so that further work can be carried out.

Now it is the duty of the person making the argument to listen patiently to the criticism and then respond to it or take that criticism as a correction, so that in the coming times he can learn more and refer to his argument or Strengthen. Criticism means to recognize the wrongdoing. Criticism here is taken to mean that we are badmouthed, even though criticism (healthy criticism, not involving personalities) is a process of correction that, if stopped, would bring the whole world to a standstill. If you go back to the past, the word ‘criticism’ has always been positive for people. Unfortunately, in the society in which we are living today, there has been such a strange and funny attitude of people that as soon as they hear the word ‘criticism’, the mindset of people becomes that evil will happen now.

Develop enough courage in yourself that if your opinion is proved wrong, then learn to approach now. This task is not so easy but it is not impossible either. For example, for a long time the Church was unwilling to accept that ‘the earth revolves around the sun’. The priests tried hard to make people stick to the idea that ‘the sun revolves around the earth’, but there came a time when all the people of the world had to turn around and today everyone is convinced (with reason) that ‘ Earth revolves around the Sun’. If you have learned to approach, then understand that now the windows of knowledge will open more and progress will continue. As a whole we are a difficult nation. We are always ready to comment on everything, but we don’t bother to get to the bottom of it. How to reach the truth, we are that nation that when we see that everyone is walking on the same path (i.e. walking on the wrong path), then we will also follow the same path. It is very difficult to bring us back from this ditch. People get tired of giving arguments, but when our nation takes a decision, nothing can be done except praying to God.

If we consider our plight and pause for a moment, we are today not behind the West in every field of knowledge, but far behind (perhaps a hundred years or more). The West has learned from past mistakes in the field of knowledge. Criticism has now been taken positively. Have learned to accept people’s arguments. Arguments have started to be found. Learned to criticize people’s actions instead of personality. That’s why every day something new (with arguments) comes to the world of knowledge from the West (and we are doing evil first and calling them evil while also following their investigation). When people criticize, they tolerate criticism, correct and go back to work, when we are criticized, that’s it!
