It is said that a man’s best friend is his health. If this beloved one breaks away from him, then he becomes a burden for all the relationships like the whole world.Ghalib also said that if poverty is not overwhelming, health is a thousand blessings. Now health whether mental or physical, both are very important for us. But more important in the disease is our patience and attitudes of people.I said about attitudes because generally, whenever someone is sick, instead of everyone praying for him and having good wishes in his heart, on the contrary, no encouraging words were given in front of the patient. Gati Rather, it is even said that at such and such a time you did this abuse to us, for which you got the reward in the form of your illness, or that such and such a servant had this illness and died, so now you too are not saved.

willSometimes it happens that even treating the patient is considered a kindness, instead of hating the disease, instead of hating the patient, one feels disgusted with the patient. The feelings of the patient and the sensitivity of the matter are not taken into consideration and are ignored. No matter how good the wretch may have been to the whole family, how much mercy he has shown. But now that he has become helpless due to illness, he is neglected keeping in mind ‘what else can he do’ so that he dies before death. The consequence of not raising the morale of the patient psychologically is that the person dies while alive. It is none other than ourselves who shoot arrows of scorn at the patient, for the pain is always shared by the participants.

At present, you and all of us have become free from the fear of God and it has become our general attitude that we do not lift the patient’s morale, do not encourage him, talk rudely in front of him and many times the patient They do not forget to mention their illnesses and problems in front of them.Whereas a person who is already suffering should not be disturbed. I saw many people who, whenever they went to the sick Percy, were worried about what they would get to eat and drink there. Rather, most people complain that when they went to ask the patient, they did not even ask for tea.Although the requirement of ethics was that it should be considered that the family of the sick person is already burdened with work, some financial assistance should be given to them or fruits etc. should be taken. If you can’t afford it, why can’t you give the gift of a smile?

A person was present in the gathering of our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said very arrogantly, “I have never even suffered from fever.” Upon hearing this, our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned away from him and said, “God has not considered you worthy of bringing you closer to Him by putting you through any trial.”It is narrated from Umm Al-Momineen Hazrat Umm Salmi that the Holy Prophet said, Whenever you go to visit a sick person, say good words because the angels say Amen to your prayers.Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said that do not be afraid of prolonged illness because a believer remains sick until all his sins are forgiven.

In the hadith of the Prophet, it is also said that you should not express joy at the suffering of a believing Muslim, because Allah will deliver him from this trouble, but He will arrest you in the same trouble.
Suffering from any disease is a test. It is a test from Allah Ta’ala. Always hold on to medicine as well as prayer. But God, if you can’t convert someone, don’t even hurt him.The patient should apply his right hand to the part of the patient’s body where he feels pain. There are numerous supplications narrated from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, after reading them, some supplications are mentioned below. Hazrat Abdullah Bin Abbas RA says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A Muslim should visit a sick person (of any kind of disease) whose time of death is not near, three times in the name of Allah. Read it, then recite the following dua seven times and pray to Allah for healing, then Allah will certainly grant healing to this patient: Hazrat Aisha (RA) says:

When a person among us was sick, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would turn his right hand (to the part of the body), (where there is pain and disease) and then recite a supplication (which can be recited for any type of patient) (Tirmidhi, Chapters of Medicine: 2083)The patient should not stay too long. Sometimes the patient needs rest or some special needs to be fulfilled. have to suffer, so the patient and the attendants should say a few words of consolation, but if the patient himself is willing and the family members are not bothered, then there is no problem in sitting for a long time. The patient should not be agitated; Because the noise causes pain to the patient as well as the caregivers.

The patient likes peace and quiet, noise can be uncomfortable and confusing, so visitors and therapists should avoid unnecessary conversations. If a person is such that the patient gets pleasure from being near him, gets relief, or is a person from whom one hopes to obtain blessings, then it is permissible for these people to stay with the patient for a long time until the patient eats or drinks. If he desires a thing and that thing is not harmful to his health, then that thing should be provided for the patient. When going for a visit, one should request dua from the patient because the patient’s dua is accepted.Go at the appropriate time for the visit, because sometimes there are comfort and needs of the patient and the therapist, so these things should be taken into consideration.
